I apologize that it's been so long since my last post. I have no idea where the time goes anymore!

Garrett is growing like a weed, and has such a fun little personality! He loves to laugh - in fact he has discovered that a little laugh or giggle will get anyone's attention! He is also VERY curious. He will reach out to grab anything within reach. His favorite pastime is to reach into his toy basket and pull out each toy individually to spread out around him. He especially likes items that he can bang together. Slapping his hands on the high chair or nearby table also bring about an excited grin.
It's been very fun for me and Steve lately, as Garrett recognizes "daddy" or "mommy". Some examples are when I pick him up from daycare, he gets very excited, flapping his arms up and down, with a wide open-mouth grin. (I need to get a picture of it to share someday). Or if I hear Steve's truck pulling into the driveway, I will ask Garrett where his Daddy is. He starts the arm-flapping and turns his neck around toward the back door - since this is where Daddy makes his entrance.

Garrett is also getting very close crawling. For the past few days he has been getting up on almost-all-fours, and starts to lean forward. Sometimes he can catch himself and fall back to a sitting position. However, most times he will fall forward...and then start over again. We are not too sure if we are ready for him to be mobile just yet!
